My sister and her fiance recently got this gorgeous german shepherd puppy named Gretchen vom Alpenhof aka “Riley”. She was born from Gerro vom Kirschental at Alpenhof, a highly respected breeder. She is smart, plushy, behaved (except for bouts of puppy behavior), and really sweet. Probably one of the most intense thing about having a german shepherd puppy is how fast they grow. Just about a month ago, she looked like this, and now she looks like this: My family grew up with german shepher

We are so blessed to be able to attend such beautiful celebrations with such wonderful couples and their families. Here is a sneak peak at Crystal and Brandon’s wedding from last week. Thanks to their friends Penny and Trent who let us use their raspberry farm in Central Valley to do some photography. I loved the farm. Penny tells me they are hoping to host a few weddings their soon. It will be a beautiful venue! I hope they hurry up and get it ready so perhaps one of my girls can get married t

Sarb and Pavel live in Vancouver, BC. Pavel is a very talented scientist working on his Ph.D. This couple is young, energetic, fun, and of course very-very attractive! Just take a look at them, they could be easily modeling for a magazine! Pavel spent many years studying at University of British Colombia; that’s where we started our our photo-session. It was a hot sunny day and sitting on the grass was a very appealing idea! Pavel wasn’t challenged at all when I asked him to pick

I’ve never heard of a wedding being held on the 4th of July, but it’s ok. I wasn’t doing anything anyway. Scott needed an assistant/second camera. I guess I am the first one that comes to mind for him. It was an easy shoot; the bride and groom were young, in there early 20s, and the bride was very photogenic so we didn’t have any problems shooting her. We spent a good half an hour shooting the bride with the bridesmaids. While the bride was getting ready, Scott and I set up the ring shot with

Hey All, Sorry I haven’t posted anything for a little while now, I’ve got a stack of photos to post up from some of my recent work.. I’ve been incredibly busy the last couple of weeks and it’s been hard to get time to do any work related to my website and blog. In the last 2 weeks I’ve done a fair bit including a lovely ceremony of a couple who wanted to renew their vows after being married for 20 years. I got some great shots and it was a really nice day. I’ll be posting some of those photos

Some details. Aisle decorations are a brilliant idea - making it easy for the processional and recessional. It also makes it easier on the wedding photographer to capture the entrance of the bridal party and the bride and groom exiting down the aisle without guests straying into the aisle. Jena & Brian July 5th, 2008 I had an awesome time shooting Jena and Brian wedding out at the YMCA camp widjiwagan last week. Thanks be to Hannah Elaine for allowing me to tag along as her second shooter! Check out her blog and see what she’s got going on. Here’s a few of my favorites… you’ll see a set of 3 photos where Brian sees Jena for the very first time in her dress, he was so taken back that he was actually speachless and stumbled over his words.
