As a wedding planner, you will be meeting  many wedding professionals who want to be part of your vendor network.  Some may offer you favors, such as free nights at their hotel, a free catered meal or free professional photographs, in exchange for giving them clients.  Be careful, you never want to be in a postion where you need to pay back  favors.  You owe it to your clients referrals to give them referrals to vendors who  fit their budgets, their personalities, and their wedding visions.
