Delay in Rings

I was at Tiffany’s yesterday to order my ring. The salesman had ordered three rings for me. One was too big, about a 1.13 carat. I really looked like a WAG with it. The .88 was perfect and although it was over my fiance’s budget, he told me to get whatever makes me happy. THENNNNN they told me the bad news - that it would take over 2 months to get the ring for me as resizing was not possible. My finger is too small and with the diamonds on the side, there would be a danger when they resize it.
