Take Your Wedding Cake Home! Posted on April 5th, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Wedding Favors Recently I went to a wedding where, instead of serving the wedding cake, a slice of cake was given to each guest in a box to take home. Other desserts were offered at the reception if someone wanted to partake, but no one ate the cake (other than the bride and groom in the cutting ceremony).
